At the 2nd Pakistan–China Business-to-Business (B2B) Investment Conference, leading solar solutions provider GoodWe signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Pakistani partner, ZNC Solar, represented by CEO Mr. Anees Arif. The signing was witnessed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and his high-level delegation, underscoring the strategic importance of this collaboration for Pakistan’s renewable energy transition.
Strengthening Pakistan’s Clean Energy Journey
GoodWe was represented by Founder and CEO Mr. Daniel Huang, Head of Southeast & South Asia Sales Mr. James Hou, and Country Manager GoodWe Pakistan Mr. Fahad Ali. The team actively engaged in the Solar Manufacturing & PV Power Storage session, where top enterprises from both countries explored new opportunities in clean energy cooperation.
“Pakistan holds immense potential for renewable energy. Together with our local partners, GoodWe has already built our reputation by bringing world-class technology and proven expertise to the country’s energy transition,” said Mr. Huang.
He emphasized that the MoU reflects GoodWe’s strategic deepening in the South Asian market, marking a new phase in its long-term partnership with Pakistan and reaffirming its commitment to accelerating the country’s clean energy transformation.

Government Support and Strategic Meetings
Following the signing, Mr. Huang and his team held detailed meetings with Pakistan’s ministers of Commerce, Planning, and Industries & Production. During these discussions, GoodWe presented updates on its global growth strategy and ongoing projects in Pakistan.
The ministers welcomed GoodWe’s initiatives, reaffirming government support for its projects and expressing readiness to work with relevant authorities to ensure smooth implementation. They also highlighted the shared commitment of both sides to foster green growth, industry collaboration, and renewable energy innovation.
A Decade of GoodWe in Pakistan
GoodWe recently marked over a decade of operations in Pakistan, during which the company has:
