Sui Northern Opens Applications for New Gas Meters

The Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) has officially opened its application process for domestic Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) connections, allowing households to apply under newly announced guidelines.

Required Documents

To apply for a new connection, consumers must provide:

• A valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

• Property ownership documents

These documents are mandatory for verification and approval.

SNGC has also clarified that applications from customers who previously submitted demand notices will be processed on a priority basis. To facilitate them, a separate online link has been introduced for a faster and more streamlined process.

Connection Charges

The company has outlined the following charges for new RLNG-based connections:

• Security (Refundable): Rs. 20,000

• Service line cost: Rs. 1,500 (for houses up to 10 marla)

• Service line cost: Rs. 3,000 (for houses above 10 marla)

• Urgent/fast-track application fee: Rs. 25,000

How to Apply

Applicants can complete the process in two ways:

1. By submitting online consent and application forms via the company’s official website.

2. By visiting SNGC offices in person.

SNGC emphasized that the move aims to expand access to LNG while ensuring transparency and convenience for domestic consumers.
