All You Need to Know About Youth Ecopreneur Program

The Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) has launched the Youth Ecopreneur Program (YECO), a flagship initiative designed to empower young innovators to lead Pakistan’s green transition through sustainable businesses and land restoration projects.

The program provides capacity-building, funding, mentorship, legal guidance, and international exposure, enabling youth-led ventures to scale up solutions that directly contribute to climate resilience and a sustainable economy.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be under 35 years of age by the application deadline (14th September 2025).
Serve as Founder, Co-Founder, or CEO of their venture.
Run a youth-led and legally registered business.
Ensure the business is focused on land restoration, sustainability, or green economy solutions.

Categories of Application

Young entrepreneurs can apply under two streams:

Land Restoration
Green Business Solutions

Key Benefits for Selected Participants

Successful applicants will gain access to a wide range of resources, including:

Capacity-building and advanced training for scaling ventures.
Seed Funding: A shared pool of USD 100,000 (equity-free) for the Land Restoration cohort.
Mentorship and coaching from industry leaders.
Legal and Intellectual Property (IP) guidance.
Pro-Bono Legal Services via Sidley Austin LLP.
Preferential access to the Google Startups for Sustainable Development Program.
Opportunities for international networking and exposure.
An all-expenses-paid trip to an international conference (for award finalists).
Youth Ecopreneur Award: USD 10,000 prize money for one winner per category.

Applicants must complete the online form and submit a proposal detailing:

The business model,
Its impact on environmental challenges, and
