Atlas Honda has officially introduced the 2026 edition of its popular CG125 motorcycle, unveiling three variants while retaining the same engine design that has powered the series for years.
Prices of the New Variants
The company has announced the following ex-factory prices:
- Honda CG125 – Rs. 238,500
- Honda CG125S (Self-Start) – Rs. 286,900
- Honda CG125S Gold Edition – Rs. 296,900
Design and Features
The 2026 lineup does not bring mechanical upgrades or performance improvements. Instead, Honda has focused on cosmetic changes, including new stickers and styling elements, aimed at refreshing the bike’s look while maintaining its long-standing identity.
Atlas Honda has promoted the latest models under the theme of “Power, Legacy, and a Touch of Gold”, highlighting each variant with unique slogans:
- CG125 – Power in Every Move
- CG125S – Self Start Your Journey
- CG125S Gold – The Golden Era
Legacy of the CG Series
The Honda CG125 has remained a household name in Pakistan for decades due to its durability, resale value, and fuel efficiency. While enthusiasts have long called for major upgrades, the model continues to dominate its category with steady sales, reflecting customer loyalty to its trusted performance.
Link to Recent CG150 Launch
The CG125 launch comes only weeks after Atlas Honda unveiled its CG150 model in July, a release that sparked debate among motorcycle enthusiasts. The bike’s design drew comparisons to the Honda CD 200 Roadmaster from the 1980s, a model still sought-after in the used market.
Interestingly, well-maintained Roadmasters are being sold for over Rs. 400,000, nearly equivalent to the price of a brand-new CG150.
Specifications of the CG150
For reference, the Honda CG150 is equipped with:
- A 4-stroke, 150cc SOHC air-cooled engine
- Maximum power: 8.75 kW (11.9 PS) at 7,500 rpm
- Peak torque: 12.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm
Conclusion
With the introduction of the 2026 CG125 lineup, Atlas Honda continues its strategy of incremental cosmetic updates while banking on the brand’s reliability and market dominance. Although no mechanical innovations were made, the addition of new variants and updated visuals ensures that the CG series remains a strong player in Pakistan’s motorcycle market.
