The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a temporary halt to its call center operations in Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to technical complications.
Service Suspension Details
In an official press release, the authority confirmed that its helpline services, including the universal access number 051-111-786-100 and the mobile users’ line 1777, will remain inactive from 12 AM to 8 AM on 3rd September 2025 (today). NADRA stated that the disruption stems from technical issues currently being resolved by its support teams.
Alternative Support Options
During the downtime, citizens are urged to make use of NADRA’s official website or connect through the organization’s verified social media handles for updates and assistance. The authority emphasized that these channels will remain available to help address public concerns until the call center becomes fully operational again.
NADRA has also expressed its regret for any inconvenience the temporary suspension may cause, assuring citizens that the helpline services will be fully restored and functioning as usual by 8 AM today.

Its CNIC framework, developed on advanced biometric and digital technology, has been pivotal in modernizing the national identification system.
By 2012, NADRA had issued CNICs to more than 89.5 million citizens, with eligibility beginning at the age of 18. Since then, the organization has continued to expand its role, offering critical services tied to national identification and digital governance.
