The Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025 introduced another noteworthy contender to the country’s EV landscape as Yousaf Deewan Company showcased the Sinogold E400.
The electric sedan is expected to become part of the Punjab government’s e-Taxi project, joining the already active Honri VE 2.0 and further advancing the province’s clean-transport strategy. With its city-focused design, competitive range claims, and fleet-friendly features.
Although the Sinogold brand is new to Pakistan, it doesn’t enter the market without experience. Backed through a partnership with Chinese automaker Chery, the same model is already sold in Iran and Kazakhstan under the name Tangoo 05.
Specs & Features
The Sinogold E400 is equipped with a 48.1 kWh LFP battery offering a claimed 344 km WLTP range, paired with a 127 hp electric motor delivering 210 Nm of torque, suitable for daily commuting and ride-hailing duty.
Notable features include DC fast charging (30–80% in about 30 minutes), an Android-based infotainment system, artificial leather seats, traction and stability controls, ISOFIX mounts, and a roomy cabin thanks to its 2670 mm wheelbase.
The sedan also includes essentials such as keyless entry, TPMS, parking sensors, and a tire repair kit, making it a practical option for fleet operators.
